Inspired by the bold messages and colors of pop and street art, Garth Holtkamp has been making art in Key West since childhood. His mother was also a Conch artist, and helped to shape his creative landscape at an early age. Garth got his start by spray-painting graffiti on the walls around the island. Today, Garth’s works are a dreamlike interpretation of his tropical surroundings. They are a unique departure from some of the more traditional landscapes of Key West scenes.
