A Classically Trained Performer with Theatrical Roots

Born and raised on Long Island, she developed her voice through years of classical training and competitive vocal programs, including All-State and All-County choruses. Over time, Collette expanded her craft through musical theatre studies and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Theatre. This background shaped her expressive vocal style. Because of this, her performances combine technical control with emotional storytelling.

From Theatre Training to Key West Stages

After years of performing in theatre and music projects, she transitioned into a full-time music career. Meanwhile, she relocated to Key West and became active in the island’s live music community. Collette is the frontwoman of CC & The Sunsetters, a high-energy Key West band known for vocal harmonies and crowd-focused performances. The group performs rock, pop, funk, and reggae across major island venues, including regular sunset shows at Sunset Pier. Furthermore, the band is recognized for its tight arrangements and upbeat stage energy. As a result, they have become a staple of the Key West live music scene.

Her debut single “Past Tense” marked her introduction as a recording artist. Ultimately, she was recognized as a Rising Star at the Key West Music Awards, strengthening her reputation as an emerging songwriter.
